About this camp

High school students participate in an intensive residential camp at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) to learn core AI and wireless technologies. Guided by ECE faculty, campers will engage in hands-on lab sessions and creative design activities within TCNJ's state-of-the-art engineering laboratories. Participants will construct machine learning algorithms from the ground up, delve into microcontroller programming, sensing systems, digital electronics, wireless communications, and computer vision. The curriculum includes developing intelligent handwriting and facial recognition hardware and software, as well as working with microstrip antennas. Students will gain practical experience by building engineering kits and will showcase their project accomplishments through presentations. The camp aims to prepare students for careers in science, engineering, finance, and medicine, fields increasingly impacted by wireless AI technologies.
