Campers will build and publish their own playable Roblox game by the end of the program, gaining real-world game development skills in a state-of-the-art facility.
The Sector X Roblox Studio & Gaming Camp offers an immersive experience where kids learn to transform from Roblox players into game creators. Campers gain hands-on experience designing their own games within Roblox Studio, focusing on fundamental coding concepts and game mechanics. The curriculum introduces participants to Roblox Studio and its tools, covering basics of game design, level creation, and an introduction to scripting using Lua. By the end of the program, students will have designed, tested, and published their very own playable Roblox game, acquiring valuable skills in 3D modeling, world-building, and problem-solving in a fun and dynamic environment. The camp emphasizes experiential learning and encourages creativity and digital literacy.
A typical day includes a mix of educational sessions focusing on game development and free time where campers can use the gaming equipment at Sector X.
This camp is ideal for aspiring game developers and creative minds aged 10-14 who are ready to turn their ideas into playable Roblox worlds.
