Participants receive an engineering experimentation kit valued at $100 for home use after the camp.
The TCNJ Artificial Intelligence and Wireless Communications Camp offers high school students an intensive, residential academic experience in electrical and computer engineering. Participants will engage in hands-on tasks and learn topics not traditionally covered in high school, such as microcontroller programming, sensing systems, digital electronics, wireless communications, and computer vision. The curriculum includes developing intelligent handwriting and facial recognition hardware and software, as well as exploring microstrip antennas, which are crucial for modern wireless communication. Through a blend of short lectures and practical application, students will implement concepts in Python software and work directly with TCNJ Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty. The camp aims to prepare students for careers in science, engineering, finance, and medicine, fields increasingly impacted by wireless AI technologies.
Between 9am and 5pm, TCNJ ECE faculty provide multiple short (15-20 min) lectures on topics like supervised machine learning, interspersed with hands-on tasks where participants implement concepts in Python software.
This program is aimed at creative minds with experience in many areas (not just STEM) who are interested in careers in science, engineering, finance, and medicine.

New Jersey STEM Summer Camps is a free directory service that aggregates publicly available information about STEM programs, summer camps, and educational opportunities. We do not operate, sponsor, endorse, accredit, certify, or have any affiliation with the camps and programs listed here unless explicitly stated.
All program details — including pricing, session dates, instructor credentials, curriculum, safety policies, refund terms, transportation, meal arrangements, and admission requirements — are sourced from publicly available information and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Listings are partially generated and updated using automated AI-assisted research, which can occasionally produce inaccurate details. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for independently verifying every detail directly with the camp before enrolling, paying, or relying on any information shown here.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind — including but not limited to financial loss, missed sessions, refund disputes, injury, child safety incidents, transportation issues, dissatisfaction with educational outcomes, or any other harm — arising from your use of this directory or your decision to enroll a child in any listed program. Your use of this site constitutes acceptance of these terms.
