About this camp

This one-week residential program at Stevens Institute of Technology is designed for high school students eager to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence. Participants will delve into the fundamentals of AI, including neural networks, forward and back propagation schemes, and data training. The curriculum also covers the ethical considerations and policies surrounding AI usage in public and commercial sectors. Students will gain practical experience by learning high-level language and/or application software to develop and train AI models. The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI's technical aspects and mathematical models, motivating students to explore its vast potential across various aspects of life. A site visit to an AI-powered company is included to enhance experiential learning.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day includes breakfast, two class sessions taught by Stevens faculty, lunch and an activity break, dinner, evening research projects, and social activities, with a residence hall curfew at 10:30 pm.
